Nutrition

The Senior Resource Center's Nutrition Program promotes the health and well being of Older Adults by encouraging healthy eating habits which:

  • Delay adverse health conditions
  • Allow these individuals to remain independent as long as possible

The Nutrition Program provides meals prepared by an on-site caterer Monday through Friday. Congregate meals and programming is available at three locations in New Hanover County. Home Delivered meals and Drive-up meals are also provided to those that qualify.

  • Registration is required to participate in our lunch program.
    • Download, print, complete, and return our Lunch Registration Form to the location you prefer to have lunch on the first day you’d like to have a meal.
  • Lunches are served on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Reservations are not required.
  • Persons 60 and over are urged to give a contribution towards the meal cost.
  • Anyone under the age of 60 can purchase a meal for $5.00.

Please refer to the tabs below for specific program qualifications and location details.
